The increasing trend to home gardening has created interest in the enjoyment of garden-fresh foods all year long. UW-Extension is a source of information and research-based guidelines for safe home food preservation. During the month of August UWEX Family Living has coordinated displays and information about food preservation including Q&A sessions with certified Master Food Preserver volunteers.
