Washington County 4-H Youth Development was proud to be recognized for excellence in programming and service during the National Association of 4-H Extension Agents conference in New Orleans, LA.
4-H Youth Development Program and Volunteer Coordinator Megan Buehler was honored with an Excellence in Camping Award (Team) for her work on the Washington County 4-H Zombie Survival Day Camp Program. Additional team members honored for their work on this camp include Sarah Groskreutz (4-H adult volunteer); Deborah Knepler (community partner); Mariah Mihm (4-H youth leader), Megan Vorpahl (4-H youth leader), and Anna Pedrick (4-H youth leader).
4-H Youth Development Educator Brianna Stapleton Welch received the Achievement in Service Award in recognition of her contributions to the youth development profession.
The recognition of Washington County professionals at the national level reinforces the quality of programming that they are carrying out in the county. Congratulations to Megan and Brianna!
