Who We Are

UWEX Washington County logoThe University of Wisconsin-Extension educators are the representatives of the United States Department of Agriculture, the University of Wisconsin, and the Education and Culture Committee of the County Board of Supervisors. They design educational programs which apply research, knowledge, and resources to meet the issues and needs of Washington County residents.

This teaching is done through all media including radio, newspaper, meetings, visits, phone, and personal counseling. It covers agriculture, family living, 4-H youth development, natural resources and community development, and growth management.

The Washington County UWEX Community Development educator engages directly with individuals, organizations, local governments, and whole communities to identify needs, address high priority issues, and facilitate change. Some of these programs include organizational development, local government education, demographic analysis, and entrepreneurship. If you have any questions, please call Paul Roback, the Washington County Community Development Educator at 262-335-4480.
